About Allison Sosna

Allison Sosna is Chef of Fresh Start Contract Foods, a social enterprise of DC Central Kitchen. Fresh Start provides catering and farm-to-table contract food service for schools in the nation’s capital, a model that has been included in the First Lady’s Let’s Move program toolkit. Chef Sosna also sits on the DC Chapter of the Farm to School Board, is an advisor for the Farm to Desk organization, and served on the committee writing the Healthy Schools Act of 2010.
